How can someone in another room, another city or even another country experience energy healing from a Reiki therapist in a different place?  Reiki is natural healing energy that works on every level, not just the physical level, and this is where some people have trouble understanding how a remote session works.  Within the framework of our physical world, everything has to be done in person.  If you need a haircut, a massage, dental work, manicure or a blood test, it cannot be done by distance, it has to be done in person.  There has to be a physical connection made with your body, and that is where Reiki is different.  Reiki healing energy connects us on an energetic level where the healing work happens.  To understand this, we must first realize that we are more than our physical bodies.  Our thoughts, emotions, feelings, ideas, perspectives and beliefs all exist within us but they are not part of our physical bodies.  They are energies that can affect our physical bodies but they are not physical elements.

One wonderful aspect of a remote session is you can be anywhere to receive it.  A remote session is the same type of experience as an in-person session, except we are not in the same room; the Reiki energy “works” regardless of where you are located since it transcends time and physical space.  Having a session in the comfort of your own home can often be more relaxing than spending time driving to get to an in-person session.  After you schedule a time and date for your session, you will need to email me a current picture of yourself, which helps me connect to you energetically.  By setting up a specific time, you can be in a receptive state (such as lying down or sitting in a quiet space during the session).  Most people find it helpful to listen to soft, soothing music during their session.  I will make contact with you by phone at your scheduled time and ask what you want the session to support (physical or health issue, goal, challenge, or simply relaxation).  Things you may or may not experience during your session are; feeling a little hot or cold in certain areas of your body, feeling slight twitching or releases, seeing colors or shapes, having thoughts about certain life experiences, feeling calm and relaxed, falling asleep, or some may just experience a sense of peace from within.  After the session is complete, I will contact you by phone to discuss any experiences you had and answer any questions you may have.  You will also receive a summary of your session via email.  It includes my intuitive observations, what I sensed about your energy centers, and personalized guidance based on what came up during the session.  This session is offered with Karuna Reiki Master Teacher, Chris Frank.
